You Make My Heart Happy - Color Throwdown Challenge #629

 

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week's hostess is Vickie and she has a darling Valentine themed color combo for us to play with.

I stuck with the Valentine's Day theme and used Heart Rays Die-namics as my focal point, created with Red Hot and Ripe Raspberry card stocks. The background was created by stamping Romantic Script Background on Sweet Tooth card stock in a distressed manner, then I stamped Distressed Patterns Stamp Set with Red Hot and Ripe Raspberry dye inks.

Once done, the background was popped up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base and I added Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX, cut from Silver Sparkle card stock and adhered with foam tape, then Heart Rays Die-namics was also popped up on foam tape.

The sentiment, from Smitten With You, was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock, cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and popped up on foam. I finished off with some glitter enamel dots.
