Stay Awesome - Color Throwdown Challenge #632

 

Hello there and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge!!! I'm hosting this week and I'm bringing you a bit of Spring so I hope to see a lot of you playing along with us!

I'm using Lavish Lilies Stamp Set from MFT for this CAS card. To be more realistic, I went more on the orange side of the color spectrum for them but I love the way they turned out--they were fun to color!

To begin, I did a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor Paper with peerless Watercolors then spattered with clean water and black acrylic ink. Once dry, I layered it with Translucent Vellum then adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape. 

Then the colored image was popped up on foam tape on the card front and a sentiment from Essential Sentiments was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics, then also popped up on foam tape as well.
