Love You More - Color Throwdown Challenge #639

 

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Vickie is our hostess and she's chosen a color palette that's almost mono-chromatic for us to play with.

I hadn't had a chance to use the recently-released Watercolor Wash Stencil from MFT so today was the day and I love it!! You'll be seeing this one more for sure! To begin, on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, I sponged, left to right, Amarena Cherry, Moroccan Spice, Butterscotch, and Kraft die inks. Once dry I spattered with clean water and gold and black acrylic inks.

I cut Hey Die-namics from Gold Sparkle card stock and two copies from white scraps and layered them with spray adhesive. The sentiment, from Heart Burst Hellos Stamp Set, was heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics. 

The background was adhered directly to a Sweet Tooth card stock base, the sentiment strip and Hey die cut adhered, and I finished off with the little heart cut from Amarena Cherry card stock.
