We Make the Perfect Pair - April MFT and Friends Feature

Hello! It's time for the April MFT and Friends Feature! The new release is available now for purchase so be sure to head on over to the MFT Online Boutique and shop! And don't forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details, more inspiration, and a chance to win a prize!

For today's card I'm using Tweet Memories Stamp Set and Die-namics from the April release. To begin, I stenciled Micro Cloud Edges Stencil on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper through Oval Extraordinaire Stencil using Broken China Distress ink. Then I used the negative from Oval Extraordinaire Stencil and sponged the "frame" with Kraft dye ink and Hickory Smoke Distress Ink around the edges. Leaving the negative in place, I spattered some clean water and then black acrylic ink for some interest, then adhered it directly to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

The image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers, then popped up within the oval with foam tape.

The sentiment from the set was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Essential Stitched Sentiment Strips and also popped up on foam. To finish off I added some Petite Clouds Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and adhered with foam tape, as well.

And there you have it! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon, now go SHOP!
