Have a Beautiful Day - Color Throwdown Challenge #644

Hey there and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge!! This week Amy Rohl is our hostess and she's chosen a super fun color palette for us to play with.

I immediately thought of yellow butterflies and to that end stamped up some from Spread Your Wings Stamp Set on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers.

I brought in the gray of the palette by laying down a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor paper with Peerless Watercolors then spattered it with black acrylic ink for the background. This panel was adhered to a Sweet Tooth card stock base with a bottom border of Black & White Stripes Patterned Paper.

The butterflies were popped up on foam and the sentiment, from the set, was heat embossed on a strip of Black Licorice card stock and also popped up on foam. To finish off, I added some glitter enamel dots.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword #CTD644 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd644 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
