Hi, Champ - Color Throwdown Challenge #641

 

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! Our hostess this week is Amy Rysavy and she has a lovely color combo for us to work with.

I'm using the recently released PI Champ Stamp Set and Die-namics for this card. 

The background was created by sponging Broken China Distress Ink for the top and using Basket Weave Stencil and Fossilized Amber Distress Ink for the bottom--I thought the basket weave design sort of suggested parquet flooring. After masking off the bottom, the top was spattered with clean water, then black and gold acrylic inks, drying well between applications.

The image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

The image was popped up on foam tape on top of Party Plaid and Stripe Splash patterned papers, cut with Fishtail Foundations Die-namics, finishing off with the heat embossed sentiment on Black Licorice card stock.
