I Need to Sea You Soon - MFT Color Challenge #167

Hi all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here's this week's color combo: Sour Apple, Summer Splash, Caribbean Sea, and Kraft. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

These colors just SCREAMED a beach scene to me and I was powerless to fight it.

To begin, I created my background by sponging Summer Splash dye ink on Sweet Tooth card stock with Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I cut Beach Scene Builder Die-namics (I love this set--you MUST have it in your stamping arsenal if you're a scene maker!) from Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, then sponged the pieces with Sour Apple, Caribbean Sea, and Kraft dye inks.

The sentiment was stamped on the sea element with Extreme Black hybrid ink then all elements were assembled, some directly to the card front and some popped up on foam for dimension.

And there you have it! Now it’s YOUR turn to play! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
