Magnolia Blossoms, MFT's June Card Kit, Releases Tomorrow!

Hello and welcome to Day One Countdown of MFT's June Card Kit, Magnolia Blossoms. Release is tomorrow, June 15th, at 10am Eastern so make a note. And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details.

The Magnolia Blossoms Card Kit includes the following products:
Magnolia Blossoms Clear Stamp Set
Magnolia Blossoms Die-namics
5 Sheets of Watercolor Paper
1 Extreme Black Ink Cube

For this card, I started by stamping the magnolia image with Versamark on Ken Oliver watercolor paper, heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder, then colored lightly with watercolor pencils. While that was drying, I did a light gray watercolor wash on more watercolor paper, dried it, then applied molding paste through Radiating Rays stencil and spattered with gold acrylic ink.

Once everything was dry, I matted the card front with Gold Shine and then Prickly Pear card stocks. The sentiment was heat embossed on Translucent Vellum with gold detail embossing powder then wrapped around the card front and secured on the pack. The whole thing was then adhered with foam tape and the colored image popped up on foam for the finish.

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by--see you back tomorrow for release of MFT's June Card Kit, Magnolia Blossoms.
