MFT's June Vault Release Is in Two Days!!

Hello and welcome to Countdown Day Two of MFT's June Vault Release with even MORE Birdie Brown products coming out of retirement! Release is in two days, June 22nd at 10am, Eastern so make a note! Today we're previewing Birthday Bears Stamp Set, Birthday Bears Die-namics, Birthday Chicks Stamp Set. Birthday Chicks Die-namics, Penguins in Paradise Stamp Set, and Penguins in Paradise Die-namics. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details!

It was hard to pick what I wanted to work with today but one of my all-time faves, Penguins in Paradise, won out!

I started as I usually do by creating my background. Using Beach Scene Builder Die-namics (seriously, if you don't have this set WHAT are you waiting for???) cut from Ranger Watercolor paper and applied a watercolor wash on the sand, sea, sun, and islands. Once dry, I stamped the sentiment with Extreme Black hybrid ink and popped sand and sea up on foam tape on a sky sponged with Broken China Distress ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper. The islands, sun and clouds were adhere directly.

Next, the images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers. After popping them up on the card front with foam tape, I was finished!!

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by--see you back tomorrow for Day One of MFT's June Vault Release!
