One Day Until MFT's October Card Kit, Happy Ho-Ho-Holidays, Release!

 

It's the one and only countdown day for MFT's October Card Kit, Ho-Ho-Holidays!! This kit has an interactive component that is super simple to use but there are countless other ways to use it! I wanted Santa to fly though the sky with Rudolph at the helm so after stamping and coloring the images, I connected them to each other and to the mechanism from High Flying Die-namics with clear acetate card stock. It took a couple of layers of foam tape and the penny weighs the pendulum for this adorable design!

Once that was done I created the scene, cutting the clouds from Sweet Tooth card stock and the super cute "town" from Black Licorice card stock after heat embossing the sentiment from the set.

The remaining colored images were likewise popped up on foam to finish the scene then spattered white craft paint all over to simulate snow falling.
