Countdown Kickoff - Five Days Until MFT's September Release!

 

Hello and welcome to Day Five of MFT's September Release Countdown! Release is in five days, September 13th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing SY Christmas Tree Farm Stamp Set, SY Christmas Tree Farm Die-namics, SY On Solid Ground Stamp Set, Winter Trees Die-namics, Grassy Terrain Die-namics, and Touch of Texture Background Stamp.    

I love that Christmas at MFT has started!! And what better way than heading out to get the tree, right? How sweet is this new SY set?? To begin, the images were stamped on No Line coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers. 

Next, I sponged Strathmore Bristol Smooth card stock with Cement Gray dye ink for a Winter sky, adhered it directly to a Smooth White card stock base, and stamped the sentiment with Extreme Black hybrid ink. The new Grassy Terrain Die-namics was cut from Smooth White card stock and layered to represent a snowy field, then the colored images were added, popped up on foam tape for dimension.

To finish I spattered slightly watered-down white craft paint with a small art brush to complete a snowy scene.
