Tag it Pretty! - Stamp Simply Challenge #116

Another timely challenge from Sharon today. She wants us to make a gift tag. I rarely do this so, again, Sharon's bringing me out of my box. Here's what she says:

Dec. 4 - ssnotime116 - Tag it Pretty! Today's challenge is to make a gift tag -- something you can just hang on a gift, a bag handle or box -- just a little bit of handmade loveliness that tells the recipient they are special to you!

Even with the coloring, this tag didn't take long to make at all. I cut out the base with a Cuttlebug tag die, added a layer of patterned paper and then a smaller layer on which to stamp the "sentiment". I stamped the image--a brand new Pure Innocence stamp from My Favorite Things called "Presents For You" on a Perfect Paper Panel, colored it with Copic markers and paper pieced, cut it out and popped it up on foam squares. I also added some Liquid Applique to the little sweetie's coat and hat "fur".This stamp was just released on December 2 and is already sold out! It's so darn cute!! But, Kim's got more on order, so just keep checking back. Finally, I added a punched out snowflake tied on with a button.
