Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to grab all of your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT.
But first…it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release PEP Rally!
Our Design Team has been busy creating jaw-dropping and inspiring projects for you, and we've saved the best for last. Here is an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, with an opportunity to revisit the amazing sets being released tonight at 10pm EST RIGHT HERE.
And while we are at it, how about we make your life even easier with a "cheat sheet" of all that's new? Head over to the MFT Blog
to print out a shopping list.
What a FUN new feature of MFT's previews for you! If you've followed my
blog for any time, you know how I LOVE to create scenes with my awesome
Die-namcis dies, and that's what I have for you today. But first:
- Release party is from 8-10pm tonight, September 6th, at the Member Company Forum on SCS. Join us for fun, games, and prizes.
- The September Guest Designer Contest winner will be announced at the release party. C'mon by to see who won over $100 in stamps and the opportunity to play along with the Design Team for a month.
- If you want to see what other projects we have for you today, head on over to the MFT blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with for today's feature.
- We're offering you the chance at Teaser Time prizes every day during our new release preparations! Each day, two prize vouchers are held by members of our Design Team. Starting this month, you'll have all week to comment on each of the posts - all the winners will be posted on Tuesday, September 6th around 7:30pm. Be sure to check the MFT Blog to see if perhaps YOU were one of our lucky FOURTEEN winners! Remember to leave a method of contact in your comments, because if you're selected as a prize winner, but we can't reach you, then we can't get you your prize to you.
- The September Hop and Shop will begin at 10:00pm September 6th, with the hop also starting at the MFT Blog.
I love this little PI - Little Witch, so I decided to create a spooky scene with her. I had an unfinished wooden frame that I was going to use, but then ran across this already-finished pumpkin frame that is so CUTE I couldn't resist it.
First of all, I cut some patterned paper that would work for my scene from some patterned paper and placed it in the opening--it was the perfect scale for this. Then I went about choosing what was going to be in the scene. I stamped, colored, and cut out the little witch, then die cut all the other elements and arranged them how I wanted before adhering them to the frame. The blackbird on the branch was done with the new Branch With Leaves (also used for the fall leaves) and Homespun Birdhouse Die-namics. And I just HAD to use the new Woodgrain Fence on this. Love it!! The last thing I did was hang the sweet little BOO banner, cut with a brand new Die-namic: Mini Pennant. I stamped the BOO using the Typewriter Alphabet Stamp Set.
Here are all the soon-to-be-released Die-namics I used:
And these additional Die-namics to complete my scene. Flat Bottom Clouds, Sheltering Tree, and First Place Award Ribbon for the moon. I used the center circle, then embossed it and sponged some green on it--it's made of green cheese, isn't it? ;-)
So, I hope you love our new feature as much as we loved putting it together for you! I just love how MFT's Die-namics make it so easy to create just about any kind of scene you want with the right stamps. The sky's the limit!!! Hope to see you tonight at the release party and then the Hop and Shop!!
