Woohoo! It's time to Hop and Shop!!! The September Release is ready for purchase in the MFT Boutique NOW!
I'm fortunate to be showing you the next set in the Inspired By Flowers series, Set 3. I'm doing three more cards for the set I'm building that will be a Christmas gift for a very special person. I don't want to spill the beans 'cause she might be reading my blog ;-) You can see the purse that I altered to present all the cards in HERE.
First up, the waterlily. I have a small water garden and my pink waterlily has been amazing this summer so I used it as inspiration. I have to use a simple layout and minimal embellishments so eventually all twelve cards will fit in the purse. For this card, I used the Little Open Scallop Strip Die-namics die for the border. All of the images were colored with Copic markers.
Here's the inside with a sentiment from the new set and part of another waterlily lightly colored.
Here's the morning glory. I used the Solid Bracket Border Die-namics die on it. This sentiment is from Inspired By Flowers, Set 1. I love how you can mix and match these to find just the sentiment you want.
And the inside.
For the poppy, I went RED :) I know there are other colors for poppies but I always think of them as red. I used the Double Scallop Border Die-namics die for this one. This sentiment is from Inspired By Flowers, Set 2.
And another sentiment from Set 3 for the inside.
And that's it from me! I'm already looking forward to seeing the final set in this series--I know they'll be amazing!
Don't forget that there's Blog Candy hidden on one of the Design Team member's blogs. You might want to comment on every one of them to increase your chances of winning it, KWIM? I thought you did :)
Now you need to go see what the oh-so-talented Eva has to show you. I have reason to believe it's fabulous. Just sayin'...
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow with this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge so I hope you drop in for that!
