MFT November New Release Product Tour

Hi, everyone! Welcome to MFT's November New Release Product Tour! All of the amazing products you've seen this past week are now available HERE, in the MFT Boutique. To see what the rest of the design team has to show you, be sure to check out Kim's blog HERE.

I'm showing you one of my favorites from this release, Inspired by Christmas. Surprised? Thought not ;-)

I knew I wanted to frame the Santa image, so first of all I chose my frame--the postage stamp frame from First Class Friend Die-namics was a perfect size, so I cut it from some patterned paper. Did you know that starting tonight, you can get just the dies from the Die-namics and Stamp Sets? Yes! MFT has listened to you and now they're available separately. How cool is that?!?! To give my frame a little more body, I cut another copy from matching card stock and adhered the two together. Then I stamped and colored the image with Copic markers and adhered it to the frame with some foam tape to add dimension. Then I set to making my card base. Not sure if you can tell, but the music strip across the center of my card was done with the new Icicle Border Die-namics die. I layered three strips and overlapped the icicles.

I SO love the adorable little holly leaf from the Christmas Ornaments Die-namics set so I cut a couple of them out, attached them to the frame, and added some tiny Copic-colored gems for berries.

Next, I stamped part of the sentiment on a flag from my First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics die set and adhered it on the bottom of the Santa frame.

Finally, using my By the Numbers Die-namics dies I cut out a sweet "25", popped it up on foam, and added a tag, also cut from the new Christmas Ornaments Die-namics set. I stamped "th" on it using my beloved Typewriter Alphabet set and tied it onto the 5 with a bit of twine.

Here's the inside, with another Santa and the rest of that sentiment.

I really love this card--I'm thinking it's going to stay with me and either be framed in a shadow box or be displayed on an easel as part of my "extreme" Christmas decorating. Either way, I know exactly where I'm going to put it :)

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back here tomorrow for this week's MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge!
