Get Your Cake On–SSSC #228

SSSC228_2014jul20

Happy Sunday, all! Since it *is* Sunday, that means it’s time for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Today Karen has another classic layout for us and we hope you’ll find some time to play along!

SSSC228
My card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. I added a strip of Blu Raspberry card stock stamped with DC Large Scale Backgrounds using Sweet Tooth pigment ink, then a strip of Fuse Green card stock stamped with Diagonal Stripes Background using Fuse Green ink. I cut some Sweet Tooth card stock with Pinking Edge Circle STAX Die-namics and stamped it with Confetti Background using Razzle Berry ink, Fuse Green ink, and Blu Raspberry ink and popped it up on foam. I made a LLD Bring on the Cake Die-namics, adhered it to clear acetate card stock and placed it on some silver mirror card stock for the cake plate. I stamped the sentiment, from LLD Delicious Birthday, at the bottom with Steel gray ink, and popped up some Balloons STAX Die-namics cut from Razzle Berry card stock, Blu Raspberry card stock, and Fuse Green card stock, “tied” with matching baker’s twine.

Another sentiment from LLD Delicious Birthday was stamped on the inside.
