MFT March New Product Launch

Hi, all, it’s time! MFT’s March Release is live! Everything we’ve been showing you for the last five days is available for purchase right now in the MFT Online Boutique!!

I have the very great pleasure to be showing you four cards using the new BB I Knead You Stamp Set and BB I Knead You Die-namics! As a self-identified Crazy Cat Lady, how could I not?? This set is so perfect for all your cat-themed card needs :)

My first card is pretty CAS. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then on a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb paper, I stamped the two images—the shelf and the kitty are separate images—with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored them with Copic markers. I stamped the ball of yarn a the bottom with a new color, Cranberry Cocktail dye ink, the sentiment from the set with Black Licorice hybrid ink, and added the little heart, cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 3 Die-namics from Cranberry Cocktail card stock. I tied around some baker’s twine, popped it up on foam mounting tape on the base, and it was done.

On the INSIDE, I stamped another sentiment and image from the set, and added a Pet Accents Die-namics die cut.

My second card shows a cat sitting on a window ledge—I think he wants in.



I started with a Kraft card stock base. Then, on some Ranger watercolor paper (I am SOOOOOOOO glad we’re  now stocking it!!!), I stamped Small Brick Background with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then I did a watercolor wash using Brick Red dye ink and a water brush (we have these now, too!!). I added some Grassy Edges Die-namics at the bottom, hiding a mouse from the set. Then I added a Window Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Wood Plank Background and Grout Gray dye ink, complete with curtains: Lush Lagoon dye ink stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock using Pinstripe Background. I cut the cat image from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb paper with BB I Knead You Die-namics, stamped the image from BB I Knead You with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored it with Copic markers, and popped it up on foam mounting tape. The sentiment was stamped on Black Licorice card stock cut with die from Blueprints 23 Die-namics with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with clear detail embossing powder then also popped up on foam.

On the INSIDE, I stamped another sentiment from the set.

Window Die-namics would help you created am awesome shaker card but I was going to do a shaker card with this image so I resisted. But you go ahead and do it with yours, OK?



This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I created my shaker element using Stitched Square Frames Die-namics cut from gold mirror card stock and Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Paw Print Background and Grout Gray dye ink. I then cut the image from BB I Knead You Die-namics from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb paper, stamped it with the image from BB I Knead You with Black Licorice hybrid ink, and colored it with Copic markers. My balloons were made, left to right, as follows with Balloon STAX Die-namics: Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Fine Check Background and Limelight dye ink, Persimmon card stock stamped with LJD Darling Dots and Sweet Tooth pigment ink, and Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Damask Background and Lush Lagoon dye ink. I added hemp cord strings to the balloons, attached them to the colored image, and popped both part of this element up on foam mounting tap.

On the INSIDE, I stamped a sentiment from PI Feline Better, and the iconic mouse.

My final card is an inside Window Die-namics card.



This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I stamped the new After Midnight dye ink on some Sweet Tooth card stock with Damask Background for “wallpaper”. I cut Window Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock, gave it a new Blue Breeze card stock sky and added a Cloud Trio Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and a sun, cut from Daffodil card stock with Blueprints 21 Die-namics. The kitty and speech bubble were cut from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb paper, stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink, and the kitty colored with Copic markers then both popped up on foam mounting tape. The baseboard was made with Safety Orange card stock stamped with Wood Plank Background and Chocolate Brown dye ink, and the ubiquitous mousie is scurrying along the floor ;-)

On the INSIDE, another sentiment from the set was stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink and over stamped with a heart from LJD All My Love and the new Tickled Pink dye ink.
