Hello, friends, and welcome to the last day of MFT’s March Release Countdown! Isn’t this release just fabulous??? Tonight’s the night—Release is at 10pm tonight. Be sure to check by the MFT Blog and get all the details. Today we’re previewing Stitched Square Frames Die-namics, Dog House Die-namics, Pet Accents Die-namics, Paw Print Background, Staggered Paw Prints Stencil.
Our pets mean so much to us and it’s really painful when they have to leave us, so I thought I’d do a pet sympathy card using Pet Accents Die-namics for my first card. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next, on a Kraft card stock panel, I swiped some embossing paste using Staggered Paw Prints Stencil for a background. I stamped the sentiment from MPD Winged Beauties on a strip of Black Licorice card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and head embossed with clear detail embossing powder. I popped it up on foam and added the heart with paw print cut out from Pet Accents Die-namics on the sentiment strip. Some enamel dots and clear gems finish it off.
On the INSIDE, I stamped a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy with Black Licorice dye ink.
*****
My second card is a colorful way to give someone some encouragement.
This card started with a Grout Gray card stock base. One a Sweet Tooth card stock panel, I cut out five of the smaller paw prints from Pet Accents Die-namics and inlaid with, bottom to top, Cranberry Cordial card stock, Tangy Orange card stock, Daffodil card stock, Field Day card stock, and After Midnight card stock, then popped up on the base with foam mounting tape The sentiment, from BB You Have My Heart, was stamped on a strip of Black Licorice card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with clear detail embossing powder before being popped up on foam as well. A few enamel dots finish it off.
On the INSIDE, I stamped a sentiment from Simply Fabulous Sayings with Black Licorice dye ink.
And that’s it for Day One of MFT’s March Release Countdown. I’ll be back tonight at 10 pm with the New Product Launch—hope to see you then!
