Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Cotton Candy, Wild Cherry, Summer Splash, and Cement Gray. I’ve had this card design in the back of my mind for some time and these colors are perfect for it. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. On some Ranger Watercolor Paper, I did a watercolor wash using Peerless Watercolors and added a Painted Prints Smitten Paper Pack strip in the Cement Gray pattern and some pink and red baker’s twine before popping it up on foam mounting tape.
Next I created my sweet little piggie image, using Farm-tastic, Farm-tastic Die-namics, Black Licorice hybrid ink, and colored with Copic markers. The sentiment is also from Farm-tastic and was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 4 Die-namics, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and popped it up on foam. I popped up the little piggie and finished off with Wild Cherry card stock hearts, cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics.
