Let's Go Make Some Fun–Color Throwdown Challenge #589

Hey, everyone, welcome to a new Color Throwdown Challenge! Vickie is our hostess this week and she has chosen a classic color combo based on her gorgeous inspiration piece. Come on out and play with us this week!

Zippy Zebras Stamp Set and Die-namics instantly came to mind when I sat down to make this card. I mean they WOULD, right? I totally want one of those red scooters, man. Hopefully, one of these days we’ll be able to go out and make some fun with each other again, but until then we’ll have to live vicariously through this little guy :)

I started by sponging Gravel Gray dye ink through English Brick Wall Stencil on Sweet Tooth card stock for a background and laid down the ground with Copic markers. Then I stamped the sentiment from the set with Extreme Black hybrid ink and adhered the card front  on foam tape on a Gravel Gray card stock base.

Then I got to the fun part—I stamped the image on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored it up with Copic markers, and popped it up in the scene with foam tape for the finish.
