Love from Me to You–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #485

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

The wavy elements at the bottom of the banner element said water or beach or something nautical to me so that’s the way I went. I seriously love Double the Fun Stamp Set—it’s a natural for this theme.

I started with a Blue Breeze card stock banner base, added Summer Splash and Kraft card stock cut with Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics, then popped that up on some Spring Whimsy Paper Pack adhered to Sweet Tooth card stock for strength. That was adhered to a Sweet Tooth card stock base and set aside.

Next I stamped the images from Double the Fun Stamp Set with Extreme Black Hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers. I added them to the scene with foam tape for dimension along with the sentiment, which was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics. I finished off with some Cute Cloud Outlines Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock.
