Are You Ready?? Two Days Until MFT's June Release!

Hello and welcome to Day Two of MFT's June Release Countdown! Release is in two days, June 8th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing Swimming Hole Friends Stamp Set, Swimming Hole Die-namics, You Keep Me Afloat Stamp Set, You Keep Me Afloat Die-namics, Best Catch Ever Stamp Set (Free with $60), Best Catch Ever Die-namics, and Wavy Lines Stencil.

When I first saw this set I knew immediately what I wanted to do. That bear swinging on a tire just had to go interactive! This image is PERFECT for Interactive Swing Die-namics!!

To begin, I created my background on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper by sponging Mini Cloud Edges Stencil with Lazy Day dye ink and Ocean Motion Stencil with Caribbean Sea dye ink then adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next the image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

I wanted my scene to look like a swimming hole so I added Grassy Fields Die-namics above and below the stenciled water with the sentiment stamped on the lower. The upper strip was adhered directly to the card front to allow the mechanism free movement but the bottom one was popped up on foam.

Next I cut the pertinent elements of Interactive Swing Die-namics, using Sour Apple card stock for the tree canopy and clear acetate card stock for the hanging element since any other card stock would show. I assembled the mechanism, added the colored image and the canopy, popped up on two layers of foam tape and was done! I love how this turned out!

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day One of MFT's June Release Countdown!
