Halfway To the Big Day! Three Days Until MFT's June Release!

Today we're previewing SY Spa Day Stamp Set, SY Spa Day Die-namics, SY Scallop Stripe Stamp Set, Slimline Stitched Square Trio Die-namics, Graphic Roses Die-namics, and Abstract Roses Background Stamp.

Graphic Roses Die-namics is so very elegant and perfect for a very special occasion such as a milestone anniversary so today I used it to make a 50th anniversary card. 

It's been ages since I made a card with a clear card base but I thought this was a perfect opportunity to use one. To begin, I stamped Romantic Script Background on Sweet Tooth card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink and adhered it to the inside back of the clear card base.

Next, I cut Graphic Roses Die-namics from Gold Sparkle (50 years is gold, amiright?) card stock and adhered it to the card front with spray adhesive. 

As you can see, it shows up just fine but allows the stamped background to show through as well. Next, I cut Impact Numbers Die-namics from Black Licorice card stock and to separate them from the sentiment strip, added some clear Wink of Stella.

The sentiment, from Bitty Hugs & Kisses Stamp Set, was heat embossed with gold detail embossing powder on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics. The numbers and the sentiment strip were both popped up on foam tape for some dimension.
