Stay Tuned! We Have More in Store--Four Days Until MFT's June Release!

Hello and welcome to Day Four of MFT's April Release Countdown! Release is in four days, June 8th, at 10am Eastern so make a note! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing Crafty Companions Stamp Set, Crafty Companions Die-namics, Tweetheart Stamp Set, Tweetheart Die-namics, Spill the Tea Stamp Set, Spill the Tea Die-namics, and Tri-Frame Cover-Up.

As a knitter, these two images grabbed my attention right away and I knew I had to use them! The only thing missing is a huge pile of yarn! Every knitter has a huge stash, LOL! So, to begin, I stamped the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers.

Next, on a Sweet Tooth card stock base, I adhered a piece of Birthday Brights Patterned Paper, and popped up another panel, heat embossed with Knitted Sweater Background with a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor paper, on foam tape.

Another panel, this one cut from Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and sponged with Broken China and Pumice Stone Distress inks was also adhered with foam. The colored images and the sentiment, heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics were also popped up on foam for the finish.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Three of MFT's June Release Countdown!

  1. Darling card and great job coloring! It reminded me of my second grade teacher teaching all of her students how to knit a scarf one year, such good memories.
