Sweetheart - Stamp Simply #121

Here we are at another Stamp Simply challege :) This week, Sharon wants us to use hearts in our project. Here's what she says:

ssnotime121 -- Love is in the Air - With Valentine's Day as our next major card-giving day on the horizon, let's get something ready to add to our stash. How about a card using a heart, Valentine or lovey-type theme -- no other rules -- let's just add to our stash with some hearts and/or lovey type cards -- and if you need a wedding card, this would be the perfect challenge for that too -- let's just love it up this week!!! No other rules - just run with it and have some fun!!!

If you saw my My Favorite Things blog hop project and my teasers this week, you'll understand my need to do something *really* CAS, LOL, and this card totally filled the bill. First, I stamped the image from PTI's Blooming Button Bits and the sentiment from their Simple Valentine set with Versafine Onyx Black ink on Kraft paper. Then I tied that sweet little gingham ribbon around, added the buttons (see the sweet heart-shaped one?) with twine and some black flat-back pearls. Easy peasy and quick! What a great mass production project this would be. And I can think of other color combinations that would be gorgeous!
