MFT November Release Countdown, Day Two

Hi, everyone, thanks for joining me for Day Two of MFT’s November Release Countdown! Release is tomorrow night, November 1st, at 10pm EDT so don’t be late! Today we’re previewing LLD You’re the Mild to My Cookie Die-namics, LLD Cookie Crumbs, Stamp Set, Diagonal Chevron Background, Playful Pups Stamp Set, Playful Pups Die-namics, Kraft Collection - Solid Stripes Paper Pack.

So what do you think of what you’ve seen so far? Pretty awesome, right? There’s more to come so let’s get started! I have two cards for you using today’s preview products. First up I’m using some sweet items from Laina Lamb Designs: LLD Cookie Crumbs and LLD You’re the Milk to My Cookie Die-namics. This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base on which I added Tiny Checks Brights Paper Pack. Next I cut the milk bottle, cap, and label from Sweet Tooth card stock and Wild Cherry card stock. I stamped the label with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. Then I made a bunch of cookies using Kraft card stock, Sweet Tooth card stock, Safety Orange card stock (perfect color to peanut butter cookies!), and Milk Chocolate card stock. The sprinkles were stamped with Wild Cherry dye ink.



Next I stamped the “YOU” and “ME” from parts of sentiments and then the complete sentiment with Milk Chocolate dye ink. The + symbol was created by using the “I” from LLD Bottlecap Letters Die-namics and glued on then the whole panel was popped up on the base with foam mounting tape. I popped up the milk bottle, arranged and adhered the cookies and it was done!

For my second card I’m using the oh-so-cute Playful Pups.



This card also started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then, on Smooth White card stock, I sponged my background using Kraft dye ink for the bottom and Berrylicious dye ink for the top with a Mini Ink Blending Tool. I think splattered some white and black Kuretake Gainsai Watercolor on with a brush, tied around some baker’s twine, and popped it up on foam mounting tape.




Then I stamped the image with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut it out with the coordinating Playful Pups Die-namics, colored it with Copic markers and popped it up on foam as well.

MFT November Release Countdown, Day Three

Hello and welcome to Day Three of MFT’s November Release Countdown! Mark your calendars—release is on November 1st at 10pm EDT. And don’t forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details! Today we’re previewing PI Ice Skater Stamp Set, PI Ice Skater Die-namics, Deepest Sympathy Stamp Set, Roses in Bloom Die-namics - Free with $60, and Sending Hugs Die-namics - Previous Free with $60.




I have a couple of cards for you today starting with the adorable PI Ice Skater stamp set and PI Ice Skater Die-namics. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then, on some Stone Gray card stock, I stamped Whimsical Waves Background with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder and adhered it to the bottom of the card base. I think that totally looks like skate marks in the ice—love how it turned out! Next I added some Ranger Watercolor paper on which I applied a watercolor wash using Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush to the top for the sky.




Then I cut Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock, stamped the sentiments, and popped them up on foam mounting tape for the snow bank, a Radiant Sun Die-namics cut from Sunshine card stock, and some Puffy Clouds Die-namics to complete the backdrop. I stamped the image with Black Licorice hybrid ink on X-Press It Blending Card, cut it out with the coordinating dies, colored it with Copic markers, and popped her up on foam. Isn’t she the SWEETEST?!?!

My next card uses the new Deepest Sympathy set along with the also new Solid Birch Trees Die-namics.



My card base was created from Sweet Tooth card stock and I added a background created by applying Peerless Watercolors to Ranger Watercolor Paper with a waterbrush. Before I adhered it to the card base I stamped the sentiment from Deepest Sympathy with Gravel Gray hybrid ink. I added Birch Trees Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock on top of Solid Birch Trees Die-namics cut from Gravel Gray card stock (I love having these solid trees to add realism!!) and added Stitched Valley Die-namics and Puffy Clouds Die-namics cut from more Sweet Tooth card stock. To finish off, I added the sweet cardinal from PI Season’s Tweetings, colored with Copic markers and it was done.
