THE CHALLENGE IS - A Sketch!
HERE'S HOW TO PLAY: Use this sketch for your creation. Please use Flourishes stamps and when you wrap it up with a bow, just link up to the Christmas Spirit Challenge 12 thread in the Flourishes Contests and Challenges Thread subforum here and you'll be in the running to win! What do you win? Well, 10 lucky winners will be handed one of the Alleluia Angel stamp sets!! If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCNOEL12. You have until April 30st at 5 PM EST to submit your cards. Flourishes will announce the winner when we issue next month's challenge!
As you can see, I went A2 size with my card because it just fit the image I wanted to use better than a square card would. I LOVE this classy, CLASSY Rejoice image SO much! And I love it embossed so that's what I did.
I stamped the image on some patterned paper (it really is patterned paper, just very subtly patterned) with Encore gold pigment ink then heat embossed with Fine Detail Gold embossing powder. Since I couldn't really use another sentiment, I substituted that element with flat backed pearls and moved them over to the other side. I wanted the embossed image to take center stage so I used some gold cord for my bow instead of heavier ribbon. My focal image was cut/embossed with my fabulous Grand Calibur machine and my Classic Oval Nestabilities dies and the layer under it with a Labels Seventeen die. Such a sweet sketch--I'm sure I'll be using it again and again!
