I have a couple of cards for you today, starting with this adorable Pure Innocence set, PI Season’s Tweetings. I started by cutting out some Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb with PI Season’s Tweetings Die-namics, stamping the coordinating image, and coloring it with Copic markers. The darling birds are separate and I did two of each. My card base is Sweet Tooth card stock on which I popped up some of the gorgeous new Chili Powder card stock cut with Chunky Chevron Cover-Up Die-namics.

Next, I cut Ranger watercolor paper with Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX Die-namics on which I did a wash using the new Blue Yonder dye ink and Cactus dye ink. I popped it up on foam mounting tape, then popped up the PI image and the sentiment, stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. The birdies finished it off. This card is also for this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

Next is a card using the new Diagonal Quilt Square Cover-Up Die-namics.

This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then I added a layer of Sweet Tooth card stock that I embossed with the new Homespun Stitch Lines Die-namics. I love these!! I remember doing these kinds of stitch details with my sewing machine on almost every card not too awful long ago! Now I can have the look without the actually sewing! To add a little more interest, I did some splattering with watered down Black Licorice dye ink.

Next I created my quilt using Black Licorice card stock, Sweet Tooth card stock, and some stamping with Damask Background and Blue Yonder dye ink and Cactus dye ink. I popped it up on foam and added the sentiments from Let’s Get Cozy, stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock, cut with Blueprints 12 Die-namics, and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. I finished off with some enamel dots and it was done!

That’s it for today’s previews. Thanks so much for stopping by—see you back tomorrow for another day of November MFT Release Countdown!
