Miss You a Latte–MFT September Vault Release

Hey, hey, hey! It’s time for the September
MFT Vault to open up! This month we’re releasing a la Modes Miss You a Latte Stamp Set and Die-namics, BB Sunflower Sweetheart Stamp Set and Die-namics, PI Li’l Pumpkin Stamp Set and Die-namics, Level Up Stamp Set and Game Controller Die-namics! Now’s your chance to get these re-released products if you missed them first time around. Get all the details on the MFT Blog.

I miss a la Modes so much so I used these products today. This was one of my favorites so I’m a happy camper. To begin, I stamped All Lined Up Background on a Kraft card stock base with Versamark then added the coffee beans from BB Sweater Weather in the Woods in the open spaces. Next I added Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frames Die-namics, cut from Kraft card stock and adhered directly and a couple of strips of patterned paper as accent. Next I added another Single Stitch Line Rectangle Frame, cut from Silver Sparkle card stock and popped up on foam.

The image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Milk Chocolate hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, colored with Copic markers, and popped up on the card front. The sentiment was heat embossed on Milk Chocolate card stock and also adhered on foam tape. I finished off with some enamel dots.

You can enter for a chance to win a $50 MFT shopping spree by commenting on the two vault launch posts on the MFT Blog before 8 PM EDT on September 26. Please leave only one comment per person, per day. One winner will be randomly selected, and the winner will be announced at 8 AM EDT on September 27 on the MFT Blog.

Happy Purr-thday - MFT September Birthday Project Challenge

Our pets are part of the family and deserve to be represented in our birthday greetings. Whether sending birthday wishes from yourself and your furry friends, or to a recipient that is an ardent pet lover, adding a doting dog or caring cat conveys an undeniable friendship. This month, add a cat, a dog, or any mix of the two (and remember, putting party hats on them ups the charm instantly!)

Of course I chose to use cats :) BB Cool Cat Stamp Set and Die-namics, to be exact. I kept it CAS, sponging a background with
MFT dye inks. The images were stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers then popped up on the card front with foam tape.

The card front was adhered to a Sweet Tooth card stock base and the sentiment was stamped on more Sweet Tooth card stock and cut out by hand into a speech bubble for the finish.

And that’s it from me today. Hope to see you playing along with this challenge—it’s a great way to add birthday cards to your stash! Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

Boo From Me to You - MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #455

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I created a spooky scene using SY Spooktacular Friends Stamp set and used Birch Trees as my sketch elements after flipping the sketch. I sponged the sky with Distress Inks after masking off the moon, splattered on some stars, built the scene.

I sponged the hills and grass for dimension and stamped the sentiment on the front layer of grass. The house was stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink, colored with Copic markers, and fussy cut out before being popped up on foam tape. I backed the birch trees with some Cement Gray card stock for contrast,

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
