Hello, and welcome back to MFT’s May Release Countdown, Day Six! Today we’re showing you BB Let’s Hang Out stamp set and BB Let’s Hang Out Die-namics, along with Vertical Stitched Strips Die-namics and Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics.
My card started with a Kraft card stock base. Then I stamped the tree image on a piece of X-Press It Blending Card. I wanted to cover the entire piece so I extended the upper lines of the tree freehand with a Copic pen. After I colored the tree with Copic markers, I stamped the grass image across the bottom with Sour Apple Hybrid ink touched with Gumdrop Green Hybrid ink—I stamped across twice for some nice thick grass. Next I masked off the tree trunk and air brushed the sky with a Copic marker, added the sun, cut with Sun, Moon, & Stars Die-namics from Lemon Drop card stock, and popped the panel up on foam tape.
The tire swing and the darling little girl were stamped and colored the same way and adhered to the card front—the girl was popped up on foam tape as well. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the set on a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and popped it up on foam.
Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside.
And there you have Day Six! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope to see you back later today for this month’s MFT Color Palette Challenge and tomorrow for Release Countdown, Day Five!
