MFT June Release Countdown, Day Four

How cute is this penguin from BB Penguins in Paradise???? I am smitten with him!!! Too cute for words! I decided to create a little scene with him for my card today. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Then, on a strip of Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb, I stamped the hibiscus image several times to use as a border along the left side of the card. I colored them with Copic markers and adhered it. Next, on some Ranger watercolor paper, I did a water color wash for my backdrop using, top to bottom, Blueberry dye ink, Summer Splash dye ink, and Kraft dye in. I added a sun cut from Daffodil card stock with the new Zig Zag Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and added some Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics cloud, one with a sentiment from the set stamped on it with Black Licorice hybrid ink. I stamped the palm tree and my little penguin on Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb cut with BB Penguins in Paradise Die-namics, stamped with the coordinating images from BB Penguins in Paradise and Black Licorice hybrid ink, and colored them with Copic markers. I popped them up on foam mounting tape and that was it! This card is also for this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges.




On the inside, I stamped another sentiment and image from the set.
