You’re a Life Saver–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #284

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I refrained from doing a shaker card with that circle in the center, LOL! It was hard but I managed and I did have fun with this design. I started with a Stone Gray card stock base. On more Stone Gray card stock I stamped Wood Plank Background with Cement Gray dye ink. Then I overstamped that with the sentiment from Go Overboard, again with Cement Gray dye ink but substituting Wild Cherry dye ink randomly. I created a sailor’s knot with white cotton yarn and wrapped it around for the vertical element of the sketch.



For the square element, I used some paper from the just-released Sweet Sunshine Paper Pack and popped it up on foam mounting tape. I added the life saver from Let’s Get Nautical Die-namics, created with Sweet Tooth card stock and Wild Cherry card stock, adding some white cotton twine for the handles. I popped it up on foam tape and finished off with some red glitter paper stars cut with Blueprints 13 Die-namics and Blueprints 25 Die-namics, along with a couple enamel dots.
