MFT July Release Countdown, Day Four

Hi, everyone and welcome to Day Four of MFT’s July Release Countdown! Today we’re previewing BB Happy Hippos Stamp Set, BB Happy Hippos Die-namics, Handwritten Happiness Stamp Set, Balloon Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics, Balloon Shaker Pouches, Star Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics, Star Shaker Pouches, and Confetti Numbers Die-namics. My first card for you today features BB Happy Hippos and BB Happy Hippos Die-namics from the July Release, plus several previously released products to help create my scene. The images were stamped on No-Line Coloring Card Stock with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and colored with Copic markers.



The background was created with Peerless Watercolors on Ranger Watercolor Paper, the grass was cut from Sour Apple Card Stock with Grassy Fields Die-namics, the water from Berrylicious Card Stock with Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics, Safari Tree Die-namics cut from Gumdrop Green Card Stock and Chocolate Brown Card Stock, the sun was cut with Blueprints 21 Die-namics from Sunshine Card Stock, and the cloud from Sweet Tooth Card Stock with Puffy Clouds Die-namics. Dimension was achieved with foam mounting tape and everything was built on a Sweet Tooth Card Stock base.

My second project is a party on a card!



I started with a piece of Sweet Tooth Card Stock on which I stamped the awesome new Handwritten Happiness stamp set with Black Licorice dye ink. Then I added several Fringed Scallop Borders Die-namics, cut from Brushed Gold Card Stock and the new Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots Pastels Paper Pack, some popped up on foam for dimension.



Then I created a shaker element using Balloon Shaker Window & Frame Die-namics, Balloon Shaker Pouches, Lettuce Entertain You Prills, Tu Tu Pink Prills, and Lavender & Lace Prills. The “string” was cut from Sweet Tooth Card Stock and the whole thing was popped upon foam for the finish. Did I mention I have a new love affair with Prills? Yeah. Check them out.
