You Amaze Me - MFT Color Challenge #76

Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Steel Blue, Ripe Raspberry, Tropical Teal, and Cornflower. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I’ll admit these colors stumped me for a while! Then I decided to think big—as in big swatches of the colors and started looking at dies, spied Chevron Segments Cover-Up Die-namics and knew this was it! First I cut my segments from card stock in the challenge colors, placed them in my MISTI and stamped them all at once with Versamark and Bundles of Blossoms Background. I wanted subtle images but lots of them and this worked perfectly.



Next I adhered the pieces to a Sweet Tooth card stock base, using a template created but cutting the die from white card stock, added the sentiment, from All About You, heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock, and the “You” from You Trio Die-namics, cut from Silver Sparkle card stock and called it done!
