MFT September Release Countdown, Day One

Hello and welcome to Day One of MFT’s September Release Countdown! Tonight’s the night! Release is at 9pm, Eastern so set your clocks and don’t forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details. Today we’re previewing All Smiles Stamp Set, Double the Smiles Die-namics, Plentiful Petals Stamp Set, Plentiful Petals Die-namics, Slanted Sentiment Strips Die-namics - Previous Kit Free with $60, Bundles of Blossoms Brights Paper Pack, and Bundles of Blossoms Pastels Paper Pack.

I have a couple of cards today using these products. First I’m using some patterned paper I stamped up and leftover from the Card Kit Release. I added Black Licorice card stock borders cut with Stitched Scallop Basic Edges 2 Die-namics and adhered it all to a Sweet Tooth card base.



I stamped a sentiment from All Smiles and popped it up on foam mounting tape then cut Double the Smiles Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock three times. I sponged one copy in an ombre’ pattern, adhered all three together and then to the white panel for the finish.

For my second card I used Fall colors (listed below) and stamped up a bunch of flowers and leaves.



To add some interest, I trimmed off 3/4” from the right front of a Sweet Tooth card base only and adhered the flowers and leaves along that edge.



I trimmed any bits that showed with scissors and stamped the sentiment on the inside, which shows nicely even when the card is closed.
