Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Lemon Chiffon, Ripe Raspberry, Summer Splash, and Gumdrop Green. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
So, what do you do when you don’t have a poinsettia die but you want to make a poinsettia? You improvise, of course and it turns out that Falling Leaves Die-namics work great! I cut a bunch of the two smaller sizes, watercolored them and arranged them to form a poinsettia, adhered to a watercolor wash background. I used two shades of yellow Prills for the center.
The sentiment is from Hand-Lettered Christmas Stamp Set and was stamped with Versamark then heat embossed with Silver Pearl embossing powder. I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops – Morning Dew for the finish.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
