Hey everyone, it’s time for another Color Throwdown Challenge! My girl Jodi is our hostess this week and I LOVE these colors!
This is going to be a quick post so let’s go! I did watercolor wash for the coral color, cut it and a Black Licorice card stock copy using Split Chevron Cover-Up Die-namics, then randomly replaced the cut out pieces on a Sweet Tooth card stock base, popped up on foam tape. Before I cut the black, I stamped it with Gold Delicata ink and Distressed Patterns Stamp Set to add more interest.
Once all the pieces were in place, I added Friend Duo Die-namics, cut from Gold Shine card stock and a sentiment from Anything-but-Basic Friendship Stamp Set, heat embossed on vellum, then adhered under the die cut.
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD485 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd485 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented March Guest Designer, Cheiron Brandon!
