Color Throwdown Challenge #509–You Did It!

Hello there! It’s time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week’s hostess is Vickie and she has chosen a fun color combo base on her spoooooky inspiration piece.




I decided not to go spoooooky with my card but instead I got out my BB You’re Super and used the colors for this super scene. I started with the background—first sponging the sky and they stamping the cityscape on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper. After trimming it down and stamping the sentiment, I popped it up with foam tape on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with a strip of Black & White Stripes patterned paper across the bottom.



Next I stamped the image on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut it out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored it with Copic markers. I popped it up on foam tape, added the BOOM speech explosion bubble, and finished off with some Silver Sparkle card stock stars cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 6.
