Hello there!! It’s time, it’s time!! MFT’s October Release is now available for purchase in the MFT Online Boutique! Be sure to check by the MFT Blog for all the details and to see how you can have a chance to win free stuff!
I love the new Delightful Deer Die-namics so much! I decided to put them in a snowy woodland scene that would really show them off. To begin, I sponged the background on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper with Berrylicious and Coral Crush dye inks and built upon it. From Sweet Tooth card stock I cut Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics and Birch Trees Die-namics, added some Gravel Gray card stock behind them. I popped some up on foam the rest were adhered directly.
I cut the deer and the just as delightful Cardinal from card stock (see colors below), assembled them, and popped them up in the scene. The sentiment, from Trio of Trees Stamp Set, was heat embossed on Milk Chocolate card stock cut with Slanted Sentiment Strips Die-namics and also popped up on foam.
And that’s it! I hope I’ve given you some ideas for using YOUR new October goodies in some fun ways. Thanks so much for stopping by…and happy shopping!! Don’t forget that MFT will be giving away TWO $100 vouchers—to have a chance to win one, be sure to comment on each of the designers’ blogs by end of the day on Thursday, October 11th. The winners will be announced on the MFT Blog on Friday, October 12th—it’s gonna be a lucky day for someone!
