Happy Easter–Color Throwdown Challenge #538

Hello and welcome to a new Color Throwdown Challenge! Lynn is our hostess this week and she’s chosen some very Spring-like colors based on her gorgeous inspiration piece.

I was tempted to go with flowers for this card but decided to do something different so I put a big ol’ wreath on Cross Die-namics instead. To begin, I cut lots of Fab Foliage Die-namics from Limelight and Gumdrop Green card stock and built the wreath on a small base that I cut out with Circle STAX Die-namics Set 2 and Kraft card stock. The cross was cut from Gold Shine card stock and I simply threaded the top of the cross through the wreath and adhered the base to the other parts of the cross for stability.

I added hot pink sequins to the wreath and a sentiment from SY Easter Bunnies. I used Ray of Light Stencil and Berrylicious dye ink for the card front, then popped it up on the base with foam. The cross was adhered with foam as well.
