You are Spectacular - Color Throwdown Challenge #687

 

Hey there, it's time for a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! Lori is our hostess this week and I just love her 3-color palette! Hope to see you playing with us this week!

I got out Distressed Patterns Stamp Set, a favorite of mine which I've been neglecting for a while. It's such a great way to use a few colors in a very cool way. To begin, I stamped the set on Sweet Tooth card stock with Summer Splash and Limelight dye inks, then spattered with gold acrylic ink and set aside to dry.

Next  I cut a strip of Pretty in Plaid Patterned Paper and adhered it to the side of a Sweet tooth card stock base, then added a narrow strip of Gold Shine card stock as "piping". The ink was now dry so I stamped the sentiment, from MSTN SPECtacular Stamp Set with Extreme Black hybrid ink and popped the card front up on foam tape. I cut the glasses from MSTN Stay Cool Die-namics from Gold Shine card stock and added clear card stock to the back for the "glass", then popped them up on foam tape on the card front.

To finish off I added some glitter enamel dots and was done!
