Hi, everyone! It’s time for this month’s Release Rewind! I love this feature since it gives the designers a great opportunity to use some products we might not have gotten around to using during the release. This almost always happens for me so I’m really excited about this chance to be creative with the amazing new MFT products that are available right HERE, right NOW in the MFT Boutique. To get all the details, be sure to stop by the MFT Blog.
I have a couple of cards for you today. The first one is using a new Pure Innocence set, PI – Make a Wish. Here’s a close up of the image. I colored her with Copic markers and paper pieced her dress. To add more dimension, I stamped, colored, and cut out another arm and adhered it on top of the dress.
I love to break a sentiment up and cut out each word—works so well in tight spaces where you might not be able to fit a long one.
And here’s the inside with another sweet sentiment from the set:
For my second card, I’m using a new Laina Lamb set – LLD Document It – Bingo.
I stamped the bingo image on Whip Cream card stock with Black Licorice ink, then went back and added the markers with rust-colored ink.
The sentiment was stamped on a Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon flag and attached to a Berrylicious button with twine.
And a winner of a sentiment is on the inside:
And that’s it! Thanks SO much for stopping by today!
