Inspiration can come from many sources and can hit you unexpectedly in the oddest places. I have several cards to post this week that were inspired while I was out shopping. This one was inspired by this gift bag at Hobby Lobby :) I have two other cards with the black/silver/red palette and I decided to go with that for this one, too.
I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base and added Tree Lines Die-namics cut from Black Licorice card stock along with Snow Drifts Die-namics cut from chunky white glitter paper. I added a strip of “patterned paper” that I made using Sweet Tooth card stock and DC Striped Backgrounds. I stamped a A2 whole sheet of this back a while ago and have use several strips from it :)
I stamped the sentiment, from Clearly Sentimental About Christmas, with Wild Cherry ink, and popped up the snowman from Snow Globe Die-namics. A Kraft card stock base would have been great with this, too.
On the inside I stamped another sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Christmas.
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope you’ll be back tomorrow for December’s MFT Design Team Creative Challenge!
