Hi, everyone, and welcome to this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. I LOVE this sketch that Karen has for us this week—SO many things you can do with that big empty space!
What *I* did was to use it for a focal sentiment. First I stamped the filigree bar from LLD Holiday Subway Art at the top, then the sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments, then another bar, all with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and all heat embossed with white embossing powder. Next I created my candy cane background paper by stamping the image from Plaid Builder Background and Wild Cherry dye ink, on my card base. I popped the stamped panel up on foam, added a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Sheet Music Background and Black Licorice eye ink and finished off with a Let It Snowflake Die-namics cut from silver glitter paper and embellished with a Wild Cherry button and black hemp.
Another sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments was stamped on the inside with Wild Cherry dye ink.
And that’s it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Stampers have for you today:
