Hey, everyone, it’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! Karen has another FUN sketch for us this week—I adore wonky panels!!
I did take a few liberties with the sketch—flipped it and used baker’s twine for the narrow element but I think you can still see the sketch. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then added a piece of Dots & Stripes Neutral Paper Pack for the bottom wonky panel, then tied around some hemp baker’s twine. Next is a piece of Ranger watercolor paper on which I colored my background using, top to bottom: Blueberry dye ink, Summer Splash dye ink, and Kraft dye ink. I popped that up on foam, added my sentiment, from BB Polynesian Paradise, stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, then popped up, as well. The girl image and the iguana image were cut from BB Polynesian Paradise Die-namics, then the coordinating images from BB Polynesian Paradise were stamped precisely by using my MISTI, colored with Copic markers, and also popped up on foam. I added a Daffodil card stock sun cut from Blueprints 21, a Sweet Tooth card stock cloud, cut from Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics and finished off with some enamel dots.
And that’s pretty much it! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
