Hello, all, and welcome to the second day of MFT’s September Release Countdown! Today we’re featuring BB Mon Chéri Stamp Set, BB Mon Chéri Die-namics, BB Harvest Mouse Stamp Set, BB Harvest Mouse Die-namics, Paris Skyline Die-namics, Streetlights Die-namics (Free with $60), Boutique Window Die-namics, Prairie Fence Die-namics, and English Brick Wall Stencil. Remember that release is on September 1st at 10pm—be sure to check out all the details at the MFT Blog.
We have two Birdie Brown sets this month and I have a card using both sets for you today. My first card uses BB Mon Chéri along with a couple more products being released this month. I started this card with a Blue Breeze card stock base. To build my scene, I added a Blueprints 21 Die-namics and Daffodil card stock sun, Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics and Sweet Tooth card stock clouds, and Paris Skyline Die-namics cut from Steel Gray card stock. I stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice hybrid ink and then added the “street” made by applying Brick Red dye ink through English Brick Wall Stencil on Grout Gray card stock.
Next I cut the image from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb using BB Mon Chéri Die-namics, stamped it with the coordinating image from BB Mon Chéri and Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored it with Copic markers and popped it up on foam. And, voila! It was done!
*****
My second card started with a Kraft card stock base. Next up is a Sweet Tooth card stock panel with a strip of Dots & Stripes Neutral Paper Pack and popped the panel up on foam mounting tape. Next I cut Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics from Ranger watercolor paper and did a wash with Blueberry dye ink for the sky and Jellybean dye ink for the grass. I added a Blueprints 21 Die-namics and Daffodil card stock sun, Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics and Sweet Tooth card stock clouds and the new Prairie Fence Die-namics, cut from Kraft card stock.
Next I cut images from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb using BB Harvest Mouse Die-namics, stamped them with coordinating images from BB Harvest Mouse with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored them with Copic markers, and popped them up on foam mounting tape. The sentiment was stamped on Steel Gray card stock with Versamark heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and also popped up on foam, Some baker’s twine and enamel dots finished it off. This card is also for this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges.
And that’s it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
