I’ll Be Here Come Rain Or Come Shine–C4C #344

C4C343_2016jul9

Hi, there, and welcome to this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges! Joanne is our hostess this week and she’s challenging us to create a card of encouragement.

Rainbows and sunshine can’t help but be encouraging, right? Right, so that’s what I went with today. I started with a
Sweet Tooth card stock base, then worked on a piece of Ranger Watercolor Paper for my design, popped up on foam mounting tape. I created a gray, rain-soaked area at the bottom using Peerless Watercolors and stenciling on translucent embossing paste through Raindrops Stencil, then stamped the uplifting sentiment from Blue Skies Ahead with Black Licorice hybrid ink.

Up above I created a blue sky with more Peerless Watercolors and added a Radiant Sun Die-namics above Puffy Clouds Die-namics, both cut from Ranger Watercolor Paper and colored with Peerless Watercolors (yes, I do love those Peerless ;-)). Finally, I added a rainbow colored Layered Umbrella Die-namics, popped up on foam. A little clear water spattered on it adds interest.

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C344.

Thanks for stopping by today—see you soon!
