Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Safety Orange, Cranberry Cocktail, Tropical Teal, and Tangy Orange. All of the details about the color challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.
The rich colors reminded me of balloons for some reason so I did a birthday card full of balloons! I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, then cut a bunch of balloons using Balloon STAX Die-namics from X-Press It Blending Card and colored them with Copic markers and added highlights with a Uni-Ball White Gel Pen. On another piece of Sweet Tooth card stock, I arranged them like I wanted, drew the “strings” with a black Copic multiliner pen and popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape.
The sentiment is a combo of Cause for Celebration Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and part of a sentiment from BB Birthday Bears stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. I finished off with some enamel dots.
And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!
Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!
