A Toast to You–My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #392

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. When I first saw this sketch the pointed element immediately reminded me of the corner of a tablecloth so I went with it. As I often do, I sketched out a little scene—this one has a checked table cloth, a brick wall, and some wine glasses to go along with the sentiments I chose. The tablecloth was created with Sweet Tooth card stock, Tiny Check Patterned Paper, Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics and Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die-namics. The wall was stenciled using English Brick Wall Stencil, texture paste, and a palette knife. Once that was dry, I went over it with Brick Red dye ink and a sponge dauber.



Cheers Die-namics was cut from Gold Shine card stock and the sentiment from Let’s Flamingle Stamp Set was heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. The wine glasses, from Wine Service Die-namics, were colored with Copic markers. White Birch Adhesive Backed Sheet was used for the “table” and dimension was achieved with foam mounting tape.
