Grateful for You–MFT Color Challenge #97

Hi, all, I'm back with the latest MFT Color Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s color combo: Peach Bellini, Coral Crush, Lemon Chiffon, and In the Buff. I was so happy with my last color challenge card on which I stenciled circles that I decided to see what die-cut circles would look like in a similar design. I’m thinking they look pretty dang good! I love this card so much!! I just cut a lot of circles using Circle STAX Set 2 and Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX, then just played with arranging them.



Once I was happy with the arrangement I started to adhere the circles with foam tape at differing levels, which provided more dimension. The sentiment die cut and stamped sentiment is from Grateful for You. The die was cut from Gold Sparkle card stock and twice from Sweet Tooth card stock then stacked for strength and dimension. The stamped sentiment was heat embossed on Heavyweight Translucent Vellum—peeps, if you don’t have any of this stuff you’re doing it wrong!! OMG! You know how sometimes you heat emboss white on vellum and it barely shows up? This takes care of that for you. White shows up GREAT!!! Plus it has a lot of body so I adhered the die cut to it—jus the loop of the “g” and the “f” and then adhered the die cut to the Lemon Chiffon circle under it. It’s very secure! I finished off with some Sprinkles and other enamel dots in the challenge colors.
